Warranty Policies

BankCard POS provides a standard 1 year warranty on all hardware. BankCard POS offers a 3 year warranty from date of invoice and 24 hour rapid replacement on all hardware with set up and approval of a merchant account. Order must be received before 4pm CST and shipments are done on standard business days. BankCard POS ships all replacement hardware Ground. The merchant will be responsible for additional fees for Next Day Air, Saturday or Holiday delivery for 24 hour rapid replacement. BankCard POS will cover the shipping of all warranty claims within the first 30 days of delivery. Any hardware replacement after the first 30 days will need a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request form and shipping will be at the expense of the customer unless noted otherwise by BankCard POS. Replacement item(s) maybe the same or similar. In the event that the item being replaced is discontinued or no longer sold through Bankcard POS it is understood the merchant will receive a comparable replacement that Bankcard POS stocks at the time of replacement

 

DOA

If a product arrives Dead On Arrival (DOA), contact us immediately or fill out the online RMA request form. Most products (excluding software and consumables) can be returned if DOA within 30 days of invoice. DOA merchandise must be returned with all original packaging and accessories for the return to be accepted. Full refunds are only given to non-functional products.

 

Shipping

BankCard POS offers ground shipping to all new purchases. In the event the customer request 2nd day air or overnight shipping, they will need to contact BankCard POS to get an estimated price for additional shipping options. All consumable orders are subject to shipping charges. Any returned items that are not covered by the DOA or the Warranty Policy will be shipped at the customers expense.

 

Software Policy

All Sales are FINAL on Software Purchases. The customer thereby understands that he/she owns the license but not the software. Any sale of the customers POS hardware and/or computer with software included, will have to be transferred to the new purchaser or they may contact BankCard POS and purchase a new user license.

 

Menu/Inventory Programming

BankCard POS provides, as a service, basic menu programming. Menu programming will only begin after receipt of the customers menu and completed Menu Development Questioner. The information provided must include the accurate items, pricing, and modifiers. BankCard POS will allow for up to 3 revisions within the first 30 days at no additional cost.  BankCard POS provides, as a service, simple or detailed inventory programming. Inventory programming will only begin after receipt of the customers inventory and inventory recipes. BankCard POS will allow for up to 3 revisions within the first 30 days at no additional cost.  Menu and inventory programming are available for $350.00 each.

 

Customer Service

Free 24/7 support is provided for customers that maintain an active merchant account set up through BankCard POS. Customers that do not have a merchant account setup by BankCard POS will be provided with free support for the first 30 days, within normal business hours of (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-6:00pm CST).  Customers who do not have an active merchant account established by BankCard POS, will be subject to a $50.00 per incident service charge for any and all support after the customers first 30 days.  24/7 annual support is available for $399.00 per year, or a monthly service fee of $49.99 per month.  Customer must complete a signed service agreement.

BankCard POS will provide support via internet login, email, or phone. Onsite service can be supplied in all 50 states and zip codes within the United States as a paid service. Prices vary based on Customers location, and rates established by independent service technicians.

 

Customer’s Responsibility

BankCard POS is not responsible for Internet service availability or network conflicts in your location. Although we try our best to help our customers in these issues, some cases may require the customer to contact their third party service provider and or service contractor. It will be the responsibility of the customer to perform initial calibration and ongoing maintenance for all equipment that that is subject to regulatory inspection. This includes but is not limited to; scales, optical scanners and barcode printing equipment.

 

Installation:

The customer will be responsible for all network cabling that will need to be run through walls ceilings or under floors. BankCard POS will only provide network cables that are intended to be exposed. Onsite setup can be provided for additional fee of $75.00 per station on the customers POS Invoice.  In the event the customer will need wiring,  Bankcard POS can provide wiring at an additional fee of $150 per drop on the customers POS Invoice. Prices may vary based on Customers location, and rates established by independent service technicians.

 

CPU Hardware

All preconfigured point-of-sale computers are shipped within the specifications of the Pos software being licensed. Any modifications to the hardware or introduction of any non-approved software will not be supported by BankCard POS. If it is determined that any additional hardware or software has caused a failure in the Pos software, BankCard POS will not provide support. BankCard POS will not support any system that contains viruses, malware, adware, trojans or any other internet based infections.

 

System Returns / Restocking Fees:

All BankCard POS, Complete Retail and Restaurant Systems may be returned within 30 days of the date of invoice. A restocking fee will be applied to all returns. Customer will need to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and is responsible for the fees for packaging and return shipment. Standard restocking fees: Retail Systems / Back Office - $300 per unit; Counter Service Restaurant Systems - $400 per unit; Dine-In Restaurant Systems - $500 per unit. Any products that are not in "New Condition" or in the original packing materials will be subject to additional restocking fees. An RMA can be requested by contacting Bankcard Pos at (630) 534-4923. Customer’s Acknowledgment:

The customer understands that they cannot hold Bankcard POS liable for the following but not limited to usage, performance, lack of usage, or lack of performance under these terms of service. Bankcard POS will not be liable for any damages, losses, or hardships claims in conjunction with point of sale equipment and software.
